Die Cederroth Augenspüllösung gleicht den pH-Wert im Auge aus, d. h. sie neutralisiert Alkali- und Säurespritzer. Dabei wirkt sie schneller als herkömmliche Kochsalzlösung.

Die Wirkung ist bei Alkalien generell stärker als bei Säuren. Haltbarkeit: Beeindruckende 4,5 Jahre. Bei Unfällen mit kalkhaltigen Stoffen (z. B. Zement, Beton oder Kalk) kann die Cederroth Augendusche unbesorgt zum Spülen eingesetzt werden: für eine optimale Spülung ist die Augenspüllösung 100% phosphatfrei.
